@KylieWaldon Sorry Kylie, records need to have a photo or a sound recording, otherwise they cannot be confirmed. I know you are someone who knows your species but they are some who will confuse Orchard Swallowtails with Dainty Swallowtails. I've done so myself in a moment of lapsed concentration.
There are around 1,500 records without photographic evidence, most are due to a glitch in the system while uploading, which resulted in the photos not being recorded. Without this evidence I'm sure you can understand that it is then not possible to verify the reports, which skews that data. You can of course decide to leave this record on the database but I will then have to tag it as inconclusive due to a lack of photographic evidence. Hope you understand. You have made a great presence with your reports in your area and your data are greatly valued.
Regards
Alison

This is a record with no photo. I think they are still allowed? :)

@KylieWaldon Hi Kylie, Your photo for this sighting didn't upload. This week moderators are cleaning up unconfirmed sightings. Could you please upload the photo or delete this record.
Thanks Alison

Thanks - I'll put them in with the caterpillar. I think it's starting to build a cocoon.

Thanks for that Alison. I'm always wary assigning eggs to species for these from photos unless folks have actually seen them laid as have seen both P. aegeus and P. anactus on the same plant.
