As far as I know Merocroca automima is a single species genus. We have seen 'smudged' specimens before.

Yes P. ocellaris seems to be the most likely ID.

And the Barren Grounds location apprently fits the geographic location of sightings shown on Bold (Hobern).
A first sighting of this species for NatureMapr if confimed. Excellent photos from life, the best I can see online.
