Six chicks, now around one year old, well-known in the area. Their father had recently died in a vehicle collision. They were being swooped by a pair of Black-shouldered Masked Lapwings, visible in last three photos, but did not move away.
Two adults and two chicks, possibly at nesting site. Observed from the trail at a distance. Adults did not have leg bands, indicating that they were born wild in the reserve.
