User's notes

This was one of the many "weird" things I got today. Not only is the mould-fungi-thing strange looking to me - but what the heck is that worm like thing in the photo? A miniature snake? A friend said legless lizard - but do they climb trees? I did a magnified close up. I didn't see it until I got home and checked the photo so focus not so good.

Very interesting observation - its too small for any of the local snakes. Unfortunately the image is too blurry to tell will confidence what species it is but I would suggest its a type of millipede, not a reptile.

Thanks Damian. I wished I had seen it at the time and then I would have taken more pics (I was taking the fungi/mould). I did go back out but I couldn't find the tree again! I will keep my eyes peeled.
