Significant sighting

Tapirlord noted:

11 Apr 2023

The only population of this Eucalypt in the ACT, though the population is currently large and appears stable. It is at risk of increased fire intensity and dieback associated with climate change.

User's notes

Sighting is indicative only this single plant in fruit

I recived some interesting advice from renowned eucalyptologist Dean Nicolle, who has suggested that these gums appear almost as an intergrade between E.pauciflora niophila and E.pauciflora debeuzevillei. Interesting considering the latter occurs on nearby Mt Murray while this peak is the only ACT location which may present suitable habitat for the former.
