Dermestes maculatus (Hide beetle)
The beetle and its larvae attack various dry or semi-dry products of animal origin such as skins, furs, bone and dry pet food; they occasionally also feed on vegetable products like cocoa beans, chocolate and dried coconut. Outdoors they are found in and on vertebrate carcasses.
