Amphipoda (order) (Sideswimmers)
An order within the Crustacea
Laterally compressed bodies, and therefore when lying flat they are on their sides.
Most species are marine, but they are also found in freshwater and on land (ie 'sandhoppers')
No sightings currently exist.
