I agree that this specimen looks very much like a Sufetala species, whereas I cannot be sure this is S. alychnopa. S. hemiophthalma seems more likely because the known distribution online of that species includes NSW as well as Queensland whereas the few online examples of S. alychnopa are from N. Queensland only. The wing pattern of S. hemiophthalma shown on specimens online (ALA, Bold Systems 4 and LBH) seem also to be a good match for this specimen, whereas good images of the wing pattern of S. alychnopa are not available online for comparison. Bold Systems 4 includes a specimen of S. hemiophthalma originating from southern coastal NSW.
