They can grow up to 40m. The photo distorts because taken with my phone near the ground tilting the camera up. They are tall in this area, for instance there are some at the edge of the gully taller than the large Maiden's Gums and/or Mountain Grey Gums. And depending on the site they can be large. For example here is one planted at the ANU, Eucalyptus smithii (Gully Gum) But they are often much smaller.
