Most likely Grevillea neurophylla. We only have subsp fluviatilis in the list, which is supposed to be riparian (I've seen it in the White Rock River bed). Were you in a drainage line? Doesn't look like it from the map.
OK, then. A look at the leaf underside would have been nice (rolled under margins, paler below than above, but it does look pretty much the same as my photos of G. neurophylla ssp fluviatilis from White Rock River, so I'm reasonably happy to confirm it, given you were in the same general area.
