Treecreepers can be seen foraging up the trunks and larger branches of Eucalypts (looks like this is a River Red Gum). As they climb head-first up the tree, they probe fissures in the bark in search of insects. When they reach the top, they cross to the base of another tree and resume their foraging, spiralling up to the top, and so it goes....
