Hi Mike, This is Goanna Robyn, one of at least six Rosenberg's Goannas in Ainslie-Majura. (Rosenberg's Goannas have unique left faces and right faces). I have got her on trailcam mating with Goanna Rambo in each of the last two years, so we can be sure she is female, although I have never captured her. @trevsci photographed her two days, one hour, and ~30 min before you did, at a point 3 km distant. Two days after trevski photographed her I put traps out in the area but clearly I was 3 km off target. I would be interested in getting more info about the burrow if you have a photo or location. (There seems to be much fewer burrows in Ainslie-Majura than in Naas Valley, in spite of the far greater fox abundance at Ainslie Majura). @MichaelMulvaney
