Glorious being, between 6-7 feet in length. I was seated some way uphill from the snake and it had no qualms about coming toward and alongside me, so I was able to get some lovely close shots as it approached. It has apparently been seen here on a number of occasions over the years and known to escape in to the roof of the cabin I am renting currently, so likely used to the sight of humans.
