Possibly Tapinella panuoides? A gilled bracket fungus that lives on decaying wood.

Tapinella panuoides is more-or-less fan shaped, the base of the fan being the attachment point (e.g. to woodchip mulch or dead wood). The photo doesn't show whether these mushrooms have or lack true stems. Certainly, my impression is that the mushrooms are not growing from the log, but seem to be arising from the soil (and of course there could be buried wood). An underside view would have been nice, for the gills of Tapinella panuoides are quite striking - often wrinkled rather than straight, forking and with some cross-connections. You'll have guessed that I'm not convinced that this is Tapinella panuoides. Usually when I see it locally it is some shade of yellow brown and overall a different look to this photo. I'd guess that in Canberra I've seen it most often in garden beds mulched with woodchips. Another feature to look out for - at the base there is usually a purplish zone, fluffy like fairy floss - sometimes scanty but often well-developed.
