Large! I went back the next day with a ruler and it stood nearly 15 high. It had been partly eaten the night before, but I can post a photo of it with the ruler if that helps.

I feel fairly confident that with that size and the morphological characteristics I can see in your photo indicate that you have a Phlebopus marginatus. These often reoccur in roughly the same location. The cracking is most probably due to dry weather?! They are also very palatable to all kinds of animals and invertebrates
