Chris, Matt - this is a male Blue Riverdamsel (Pseudagrion microcephalum). They are much bluer around the front end; the face is entirely blue, and there are thin blue bands at the abdominal intersegments. There are also notches in the two terminal blue bands (similar to an Eastern Billabongfly) but these are not visible in this photo. The distinctive post-ocular pattern of blue is also not visible in this photo. They are slightly bigger than a Common Bluetail, and even more so than an Eastern Billabongfly.
