An unexpected find in a very dry environment.
A very small hoof shaped woody shelf bracket attached broadly from a small dark projection to bark; approx. 7mm across projecting 4 mm to 2 mm deep; Upper surface:- velvety - hard; fibrous parallel zoned brown; Hymenophore:- coarse irregular pores 1 - 2 mm sometimes lying diagonal; pore surface sometimes extends down substrate short distance ; fawn, sometimes with darker edge, Spore print: nil result
