Luminescent mushroom, Ben Boyd National Park, on the track down to the beach from The Pinnacles car park. No idea what species it is. Taken with my phone, Samsung note 8,, 10 s exposure, 800 iso, don't know the aperture setting, sorry.

That's incredible that you were able to get that photo with your phone. Well done. It's always a rare treat to see these fungi at night. The Omphlatus nidiformis for all its spectacular display is also poisonous!

Thanks Pam. The phone has manual control and you can set it for 10 s, max, so that's what i did. I had my SLR the night before and took a photo of another one (there are lots of them through the forest) but I didn't post it because the file was too big and I thought out might be a different species as it's more like a group of petals. But now you've ID'd it, I'll try and add it to the sighting. Please have a look and if you think it's the same. It's colour is more green but that could be the camera or the exposure time.
