I'll just put it in as a Caleana sp. until we have an expert ID to species.

I would suggest your orchid is Caleana major, Flying Duck Orchid. There is another, 'Small Duck Orchid'
Paracaleana minor, (formerly Caleana minor.) I have not heard of anyone sighting the small duck orchid in the Noosa Shire. Hope this helps..... Joan Heavey, (Noosa Parks Association - Botany Co-leader.)

I am happy to do ‘Lillie’s & Irises, Daisies, Climbers & Mistletoes, Orchids, Peas and other Wildflowers at this stage.
I am only an amateur botanist but I believe my knowledge will be of assistance to noosa.naturemapr.
I also have an interest in fauna so will comment if i can help with ID.
