Apologies for the poor quality shots

This is really disappointing as the shots are poor. The colour of the fur is very dark and it has a black tail - the snout is that of an Antechinus. Antechinus agilis occurs in your area and not stuartii but I would like much better images before I can ID the animal - sorry.

Imagine how disappointed I felt! It all happened too quickly to recover properly! Anyway, would you please Confirm it as Antechinus sp. at this time.

Black fur and tail so it has to be the Dusky Antechinus - this species is uncommon in the region on the coast.
