The slim general look of the plant (habit) and the fact that it is growing in a paddock rather than amongst rocks suggests Bulbine bulbosa. However, the best way to tell them apart is to look at the anthers when the flowers open. Bulbosa anthers stick up above a hairy tuft, while glauca anthers curl and lay on their sides above a hairy tuft.
