Funnelweb that made its home on a carrot in the vegetable garden.

No it wasn't. In fact, I didn't initially see the Funnel Web when I pulled the carrot up. It was completely surrounded by its web sock. Also, this wasn't an isolated incident. It occurred one other time a few weeks after this incident.

Normally no, but on one rare occasion when I did, a damn Funnel Web bit me on the back of my hand. Thankfully it didn't pass on any venom.
