This is one of the fire responsive fungi that appear after a fire. These fungi have a pseudosclerotia or sclerotia which remains dormant untill the impulse of heat from the fire triggers that reproductive structure to appear. A couple of things to note on your images are, you can see relatively clearly the uneven edge to the gills, hence the name 'sawgill' in the common name. The other thing I was pleased to see you have captured is on the ground around your first image it looks like the ground is dusted with light coloured powder. This is a result of the white spores from the fungus landing on the soil surface. Well done.
