Small round brown furry mushrooms, biggest the size of a 20 cent piece.

Great set of images showing the upper and lower (fertile) surface, plus an aged example. The common name for this species is 'Hairy Trumpet'! Notice the very slight purple tints in the gills. This is a very robust species that may dry out and then rehydrate in favourable weather conditions

This was a new one for me, I have not noticed it on the property before and we have been here since 2004. I do like when they have common names.

I most probably shouldn't say this, but the common names tend to stay the same, which can make it easier to remember! Whereas the 'scientific ones' are often changing with all the DNA work that's being done. A good new record to add to your list.
