The head of the mushroom was only approx 5mm in diameter, the stem was incredibly fine, similar to a human hair. Very dainty!
The second photo has my blurry fingertip for scale.

Great to see this unusual Marasmius species. A name that is not on our species list. I will add it as soon as I can overcome some technical difficulties I'm currently having uploading new species! You've done well to be able to capture such a tiny specimen with the stems so clearly.
