User's notes
A 'jewelled' basically cream coloured fungus. 4 cms long, 3 cms wide and approx. 2 cms deep. The beads of liquid, which were various degrees of amber, were not sticky and the fungus was spongy in texture. It was found at the base of a river peppermint gum and was in close proximity to an ants nest. Ants were noted to frequently wander over it but I didn't see any engage with the beads of liquid. The last photo, without the liquid, was taken the following day. Pam, was wondering if this is a Bleeding Tooth Fungus.
