Yes I am wondering if it ranks as 'Significant' for the Atlas?
Also the bird is in breeding plumage.

Wow!, that reminds me so much of Scotland! A great sighting Matthew. I have added it as a Feature and will leave it to the Bird moderators to rank it - seems Significant to me, I have never seen one here before

The FSCB have 3 previous records as far as I know, 2002 at Nadgee Lake, 2007 on Merimbula Lake and 2015 opposite Glebe Lagoon, all of a single bird. The Nadgee Lake one might have been mine, as I have a vague memory of seeing one there, but never anywhere else locally. I reckon it's significant.
