Growing on what i think is Eucalyptus muelleriana (firewood)

It looks a bit like Terana caerulea, though the main image at the end of the log looks very 'fluffy'!! I was wondering if the magnification enhanced that look?! It has the pale edge as is often described in this species and normally that's what I would go for, I can put that up as a suggestion and see if anyone else has a view on this. All I can say is that you have very colourful fire wood

Hi Pam, it was definitely well formed and had a 'fluffy' appearance. It was also on multiple logs. Colourful fire wood! Cheers ry

Hey Pam - for this sighting I wondered about Phlebiopsis crassa?

It is listed as a species on the Canberra NatureMapr, but not Budawang.
