This genus can be a bit of a challenge at times as there are hundreds of unnamed species. Not only that they come in a wide variety of colours and sizes. The reason I went for this genus is the colour of the gills with what appear to be mature spore of a typical Cortinarius colour and the slight deposit of spores at the top of the stipe.
