Anywhere between 10 to 15 Brown Gerygones were rapidly flying around the vegetation in our small patch of rain forest. It turned out that two males were in conflict in a violent fight (possibly to the death of the loser?), which finally ended on a small branch directly in front of me before the pair dropped to the ground oblivious to my close presence. They attracted a number of onlookers enabling me to get these photos. The pardalote also reported here took some interest in this activity.
