User's notes

These swift moths were active on a very wet night along with the much more common O silvanus. I am not sure whether these are all the same species due to some variation in color and markings. Images 2 and 3 are of the same individual.

Interesting you should say that Paul, as here I counted 15 Oxycanus moths under our light and found only four of them were O. dirempta,while the rest were O. silvanus. After counting them at least three more O. silvanus appeared before I turned the light off.
