I think these small seedlings are Myrsine, but not 100% sure! EDIT: I have added one more close up photo of the top showing the new leaves forming.

Not so sure about this one.
Could be an exotic?

They were growing in an area dominated by eucalyptus (Southern Blue Gum), with no exotics nearby (but still possible). I have one more closeup to try uploading, an if it is still inconclusive I can get better photos next time.

Can I see very fine teeth on the margins of the leaves?

@Plants - I have just added two closeup crops of the serrations. I can take more photos next time that I visit the site.

Pedicels hard to see clearly yet do not appear pubescent nor rusty hairy (compared to glabrous or sparse hairs).
Growth tip buds shown here pale brown (orangish) not rusty hairy (red-furry).
