Not sure about variety as I'd need to use a microscope/hand lens in the field...but it is Hypoxis vaginata which I believe has changed Pauridia. NSW flora online still lists it as Hypoxis, so not sure which nomenclature to use here? The only option in the species list is Pauridia vaginata var. brevistigmata, so went with that.
