When this flew out of the grass I thought it was a dragonfly, when it landed I thought it was a crane fly, and when I looked at my pic I didn't know which way up the thing was. And I can't see wings, so maybe it didn't fly? Its kind of pretty though.

Crikey. This is a wasp? Really? And it associates with orchids... which I have yet to find at any site in Wodonga. Darn it. Orchids are my nemesis.
