Leaf galls, most likely caused by some kind of insect or mite. Hard to say what kind without dissecting a gall, or keeping some in a bag until some creature emerges.

The distortion of the leaf shape and colour in the vicinity of the little white things suggests that the white things are galls caused by disturbance to the metabolism of the plant, rather than eggs just laid on the leaf surface.

@TathraPreschool : I hope you can keep this to see if tiny flies or wasps or grubs emerge in due course from the white things.
I suggest you put it in a clean jar with a fabric cover held by an elastic band, and watch it daily to see what happens.
