It's either Watsonia or Montbretia (Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora). Neither are registered on Albury Wodonga Nature Map so we will get them into the system. Good pick-up Kyliegw :)

Thank you. There were no flowers left to tell what they had been but they seem established and spotted throughout that section. They were a bit taller than I expected for a wild growing Watsonia but we have had a bit of rain.

Mainly a weed in coastal areas of southern Australia, but probably another one to control while it is still low in numbers
