I could only find this one grass weed thing like this. The seed head is really different. It was short. I looked around but I could only see this one.

A weed mainly of disturbed areas and not a serious invader of the natural environment

Thanks Michael. Recently I found way more downstream of that plant in the lawn parts of the park - these plants are showing up where they have left grass in the rough, rather than mow low.
