Hi Kylie, there is no possible way to discern who created these bubbles as there is plenty of aquatic species that produce them.

I followed these 'bubbles' across this section of the creek near the reeds for some time. They would appear, and then it looked like something went back underwater. One was about 50c size the rest 20c size. The bubble didn't appear to break the water. An insect? A frog? Tiny turtles? I can't see either in the photos. They rose up every few moments.
