User's notes
This lone beetle was quite pretty; black with blue. Hard to get a pic of the front end it was facing towards the trunk on this small wattle tree which is in bud.

yay! I looked up the (white) history of this beetle and it was the first recorded on Captain Cooks trip to Botany Bay - hence name. I did look hard for others but could only see the one.
