When I got a Pied Butcherbird last year in Nov fighting off a Wedgie in thermals I was determined to keep my eyes peeled, but not a call, not another sighting. Until today. And oh the song - it gave me several renditions and was as beautiful as I remember it from 20 years ago outside of Howlong.
