Wow, well done Stuart! Amazing that this species wasn't seen for decades locally and now has been seen on multiple occasions in the last two years.

Thanks Luke, this by no means diminishes your outstanding sighting last year; we have now brought awareness of this species so no doubt there will be more sightings in coming years. I have gone back to the meditation gardens a few times but am a bit hesitant to brandish my ento net there. When I have had, usually later in afternoon, have had no success with buprestids..
