I agree, I too looked in Choreutis (genus) but couldn't find a match. It looks like a moth in the family Choreutidea family, I think it looks most like a pehaps un-named Asterivora (genus) species, see here on the ALA: https://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:afd.taxon:10be58ea-c14a-411b-b814-ccff15fcd530 ( I think the name of geeus might suggest the moths like daisy floweres. eg. asters). On Bold Systems A . homotypa to my eye looks most likely but this moth is probably different again.
None of the 14 named Australian Choreutidae (including A . homotypa) have a medial band of 3or4 black and white patches. None of the BOLD specimens in the four Australian genera have this pattern. I am unclear about which genus this specimen would belong to. I suggest 'Chroeutidae (family)'.
