Yes I think these look more like D. nigomontana than anything else, with the green stems, the lateral sepals and petals generally held in the same plan and colour. But I am finding colour with Diuris is not always a reliable guide. Diuris nigromontana so far from Black Mountain is interesting but David Jones has always reported D. nigromontana at the Majura Firing Range but not at Mt Majura which is interesting. If they are at the firing range (not easy to check) then that is not very far from this area. I have one personal record from Mulligans Flat which looks very much like D. nigromontana but it was a single plant among considerable D. pardina variation and hybrids.
Yes, plant features of this sightings fit with my confirmed sightings of D. nigromontana at Gossan Hill on 16 Oct 2021. I was hesitant to initially make this call given that Egan et al Field guide to orchids of the Southern Tablelands indicates that D. nigromontana is endemic to the ACT. May be a couple of my other unresolved sightings at this site could also be D. nigromontana or hybrid of D. pardina which seems to be more common in this area looking at other Diuris sightings on CNM for the Sutton area?

I agree this looks like D nigromontana. Given the consistency across records, I'm tempted to say we can call these D nigromontana. I'll change the other records too
