Seems to match adults of H. melanotypa, see Sighting No, 6320. Do you have a photoi of the larvae?

Nice work, Mike, well done. I will be interested to see what donhe says.

The larva at sighting 4451092 is listed as from Jerrabomberra, whereas this sighting is from Isaacs ? I am confused.

The larvae were captured in Jerrabomberra and raised in Isaacs. Pupal stage was one month. I didn't know whether to amend the sighting to the site of capture. I have released moths in Isaacs.

Thanks to Mike for rearing this one, it certainly looks like H. argyroleuca and H. melanotypa have similar larvae, both constructing similar cases.
