An unexpected visitor. A juvenile male wedge tailed eagle ate 6 chickens. The next day he came back and couldn't get out of the coop.
It's a young eagle, probably not long out of the nest. He is now in the raptor sanctuary in kangaroo valley to be fed.

Sad about your chickens but great photo and glad the eagle is now in good care. Extremely lovely birds.
