Male and female stick insect

WOW May be I am seeing things the insect is the Large Brown stick But Underneath or basically because its Upside down On its Back appears to be a second stick insect this time its a grey in Colour Can some one help with this am I really seeing 2 insects or are my eyes playing tricks on me? the brown one is over 10 cms in length the grey appears to be Much smaller?
