so really need assistance with this one please, these pictures are poor quality and are from a bush camera and I have not tried to enhance them, perhaps some one can, so either its a cat or a spotted quoll the nose is pointed and the body is cat like we thought possible possum but unsure the unfiltered picture seems to have spots not stripes like a cat anyway hoping some one can identify it correctly thanks I will try a different Camera and see if I can get a Clearer picture

Hi there, as much as I would like it to be a Quoll, unfortunately I believe it is just a cat. Spotted-tailed Quolls tend to be much stockier, have shorter legs, a longer snout and a much longer tail. Certainly possible to get them in the area you have your camera so I would definitely keep trying!
