This is a big ask, and I understand that it will probably not be identifiable. Just wondered if there were any guesses on what this could be? Have just read about dunnarts - could it be a dunnart at all? The camera is situated about 2-3m from the water trough.
Hi @LisaH, thanks for the observation! Have you heard of antechinuses? They are larger than dunnarts, but in the same 'dasyurid' family (along with quolls and Tasmanian devils). Based on the pointed ears, roundness, climbing behaviour, and shortish tail - this animal gives the impression of an antechinus.
