I think it is too dark for N. argentea. Maybe N. fraterna?

Yes, iNaturalist examples seem to indicate N. fraterna. eg. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/146739115

Don, agree not argentea, noted as having the head and thorax silvery white. The old checklist, 1996 and the Australian faunal directory have no reference to Moore’s 1888 “Roeselia” fraternal now Nola fraterna (Moore, 1888)
The closest Australian reference I have, is under Nola desmotes (Turner, 1899) in which Hampson, 1900, (Catalogue of the Arctiadae (Nolinae, Lithosianae) in the Collection of the British Museum, Catalogue of the Lepidoptera Phalænae in the British Museum,Volume 2 (1900), p24) in a subsequent description of Celama squalida lists Roeselia fraternal as a synonym of that species which in turn is now a synonym of Nola desmotes (Turner, 1899).
However, Nola fraterna is listed on the funet web site and in Moths of Borneo 18 in which Holloway states “There is also material from Queensland identified as fraterna in BMNH, but this species is not listed by Nielsen et al. (1996)." (the old checklist)
I can see affinities to my specimen in both Nola desmotes and Nola fraterna

I favour N, fraterna over N . desmotes. although I agree they are close. I think N. desmotes seems to have darker markings on the basal forewing near the costa.
