The species in this genus seem to vary significantly in appearenace. not sure its C. pavonana because it seem to lack the prominent double white marks of that species in each forewing. this speco,emt does semm to fall within the reange of variation of C. suffusakais but I can't be sure.

The dark arch formed by the forewing markings appears on a number of C. luteolalis specimens on BOLD.

Don, now you have set the cat amongst the pigeons, there is an ALA image of luteolalis from Brisbane, while much lighter than mine what shows up are the two dots on the forewing one just below the dorsum up from the base and the other diagonally down towards the costa. These appear as depressions on the ALA example and the second spot on the lower wing of mine does as well. Also the black “strips” on the dorsum, before and at about the middle. But I must confess I am finding it hard to relate the ALA image to luteolalis.
